Lauren and Chris- Engagement

Lauren and Chris are one of my September 2024 Wedding Clients! All of my wedding clients receive a complimentary engagement session, allowing me to photograph with my couples one-on-one. I am gettingmportant to me to get the opportunity to do this so they can become comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. Creating this comfort gives the wedding day photos a much more relaxed and natural feel!

So once we decided where to do them, here came the tricky part—mother nature. There was a call for rain at Avalon and it kept teetering between yes, it was going to rain and no, it wasn’t. Yes, it’s going to be windy as ever, with rain and wind combined. So we decided to play it safe, and I suggested Marsh Creek State Park. The sand gives this lake a bit of a beachy feel. However, because it is on a lake, it is still very calm and peaceful, and I believe the photos reflect that. Additionally, with the images being on a lake, I was able to create a much more dynamic gallery for them! I hope you enjoy it and that this inspired you!
